Quick Start Guide

Here's an example where loader could be used:
You have a computer installation in your car but no monitor, keyboard, or mouse is connected to it. All of your music is on another machine you regularly use, say a desktop machine in your house. How do you transfer music to the computer in the car without bringing the machine inside or taking equipment to the car?

Loader will select two playlists, one playlist of songs you want removed from the car computer, and another playlist of songs you want added to it. First, create these playlists in iTunes.

Now run Loader. Click the Remove Songs tab and select a playlist from the drop down menu. When you are finished, click the Add Songs tab. Select a playlist from the drop down menu. If you wish to make changes, switch back to iTunes, modify the playlists, and then click Refresh List when you return to Loader.

When the two playlists are selected, click the Create CD tab. Click Browse to select a location to save the generated ISO image. Finally, click Create CD Image.

The only thing left to do is burn the ISO image to a CD and insert it into the car (or whatever) computer.

Important Notes:

  1. Make sure Autorun is enabled in Windows on the car computer.
  2. If you want files to be permanently removed, turn off the Recycle Bin.
  3. To add songs, make sure the "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library" is turned on in iTunes.
